Such an amaaaaaaazing Canoli! So so good. I ordered a pistachio canoli and it was crispy, soft and so well balanced. The filling wasn’t overly sweet but it still had the richness and creaminess it needs. 100% recommended.
Hands down my favorite bakery in Florence! My Great Grandmother came to America from Naples and use to make all her food from scratch. When I was growing up my mom and aunt found an Italian bakery in Boston that tasted like their grandmother’s cooking and we use to frequent it every time we were in town. This little corner of Florence tasted like home and what I always imagined Italy should taste like all wrapped together. So delicious!

Gino’s Bakery is an absolute gem in Florence! If you're in the city, you must try their cannoli. We had the pistachio and hazelnut flavors, and both were incredible. Honestly, the best cannoli I’ve ever had! And we also tried Almond Cantuccini too which was so soft and flavourful. We arrived a few minutes after closing, but I called ahead and explained we were tourists leaving the next day. The guy was so kind, they waited for us, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Outstanding service and unforgettable flavors. Don’t miss this place when you’re in Florence!
We arrived in Florence today and chanced upon Ginos Bakery and were attracted by the selection of snacks and pastries. We had the Torta Pasqualina with ham and Torta Pasqualina with spinach. They were fantastic and had just the right taste. The cannolo pistacchio was fabulous and my sister loved it. I had the Ricciarelli Al Pezzo and it was heavenly (I have sweet tooth by the way), it was sweet, fragrantful and surprising soft which just had the correct texture. All that we had today were fantastic and we will be going back everyday we are in Florence.
Went to Gino’s every evening for dessert during our trip. We loved the friendly staff, and the delicious desserts. Tried multiple items including cannolis & cookies and everything was a hit!
Awesomeness, the biscotti’s are the best soft and delicious. The cannoli’s are perfection. If you are in Florence this spot is a must do stop.
Ginos was a great place to stop for lunch. I picked up a great panini along with a lemon pastry. Delisioza! Oh boy! The price was very good even though it very close to Ponte Vecchio.
The Canoli are really tasty with the perfect cream, but my absolute favourites were the Aragostina limone!! One of the best pastries I’ve ever had.
fresh cannoli perfection; best cannoli bite of the trip, its a proper sweet confectionary-treat with sugar restrained enough for the pistachio to come through with a light-fragrant nuttiness. the shell was hella fresh, warm-toasty-crunchy but still structurally there without turning oily; recommended to give this grab-and-go dessert a whirl 🙂↕️
